Malavika Mohanan discusses her character in Sardar 2.

During a Twitter conversation with her followers, Malavika Mohanan discussed her character in Sardar 2.

When a fan inquired about her upcoming Tamil film, she revealed it will be "Sardar 2!" and expressed excitement about the unique and challenging role she will be portraying in it.

In August, the creators revealed her participation in the movie and she shared her enthusiasm for being part of the new project. She penned, "Beginning of my birthday week couldn't be better!" I am thrilled to announce my upcoming project in Tamil! Even with this incredible team! Excited to begin working on this one!"

Regarding Sardar 2

When a fan inquired about her upcoming Tamil film, she revealed it will be "Sardar 2!" and expressed excitement about the unique and challenging role she will be portraying in it. Released in July, SJ Suryah also features in the film's cast. It is still unclear if the remaining actors from Sardar, such as Raashi Khanna and Munishkanth, will be in the sequel as the creators have not confirmed yet. The sequel will see the return of the technical team, with George C Williams as the cinematographer and Dhilip Subbarayan as the stunt director. Yuvan Shankar Raja took over as the music composer from GV Prakash, while Vijay Velukutty took over as the editor from Antony L Ruben. Lakshman Kumar produces Sardar 2 under his Prince Pictures banner.
