Dhanush has rejoined with director Anand L Rai and music master AR Rahman for Tere Ishk Mein, following their successful collaboration in the 2013 blockbuster Raanjhaanaa.
Earlier reports stated that Kiara Advani was in talks to star alongside Dhanush in this important production, but it has now been confirmed that she would not be in the film.

According to recent developments, the filmmakers have cast spectacular actress Tripti Dimri as the female protagonist.

She is well-known for her performance in Ranbir Kapoor's film 'Animal,' which grossed more than 900 crores at the box office. 
However, an official confirmation is pending in this regard.
The remaining cast and crew are now being finalised.
The filming for the project is set to begin in October {or} November 2024. 

The company intends to shoot the entire film in two months, using a single stretch schedule in Varanasi and other places in Uttar Pradesh. 

Meanwhile, Dhanush is filming 'Kubera,' opposite Nagarjuna and Rashmika, under the direction of Sekhar Kammula.
